Cinema Screens in the Ice Factory

One of the purposes of the Princes Regeneration Trust planning day in July 2011, was to bring in all sections of the community and get them talking about potential new uses for the Ice Factory.

Although Great GIFT has promoted a vision of the reborn Ice Factory, we have always said that these are examples of potential new uses. Any actual future use would be decided by commercial tests and the commitment of future tenants.  Among the participants at the planning day was Gerald Parkes, proprietor of Parkway Cinemas. In the two newspaper articles below, Gerald talks about the potential for select cinema screens and performance space  in the Ice Factory.
