Great Grimsby Ice Factory Trust
Cracking Christmas Competition WINNERS !
Cerys Toombs and Abbie Hinesman were the winners of our competition to win a signed copy of the new Wallace and Gromit Cracking Contraptions Manual from Haynes.

Abbie and Cerys came to the Ice Factory exhibition to see their framed cartoons, look at the pictures of the real Ice Factory in operation and collect their prizes - each with a signed cartoon by the artist.

Graham Bleathman, who drew our Ice Factory cartoon, has illustrated Wallace's inventions such as the Techno Trousers , the Porridge Cannon
and the Christmas Card-O-Matic for this great new book from Haynes.
The Grimsby Ice Factory was built to make ice for the fishing fleet. It
stopped making ice many years ago. Since then it has been closed and
locked for safety reasons. To win a signed copy of the book, all you have
to do is dream up and send us a picture of a new ice making machine.
The funnier and more inventive the better. The winner and runners up
will be displayed in a special Ice Factory exhibition at the Gate Gallery,
Grimsby in January 2011.
Entrants must be 14 or under .
Closed! The closing date was Friday 7th January 2011.
